Winnipeg, MB – At 12:29 a.m. on Saturday, September 6, 2025, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS) responded to reports of a fire in the 400 block of Redwood Avenue.
At the scene, crews found two houses on fire. One house was vacant and boarded.
Firefighters attacked the fire using a defensive strategy until it was safe to enter and use an offensive attack. Firefighters declared the fire under control at 1:30 a.m.
No injuries were reported. The fire is under investigation. No damage estimates are available.
One of the houses was previously damaged by fires in November 2023, December 2023, and on October 16, 2024 and October 27, 2024 and November 2024.
