Homicide – Investigation: C22-79438

Previously the Winnipeg Police Service issued a media release about a homicide on April 18, 2022, in the 700 block of Sargent Avenue due to a shooting.

The deceased has now been identified as Ira Hayes DISBROWE, a 26-year-old male of Winnipeg.

The Homicide Unit continues to investigate. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Homicide Unit at 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
