Attempt Robbery/Carjacking – Arrest: C25-44627

On March 1, 2025 at approximately 4:31 a.m., Winnipeg Police responded to the first 100 block of Montcalm Crescent for what was believed to be a break and enter in progress and a car horn honking.

North District General Patrol officers attended and located two individuals in a physical altercation inside a vehicle parked in front of a residence at the above location. Officers intervened and learned that a 57-year-old male victim (delivery driver) was assaulted in the upper body by a 24-year-old male suspect, who then attempted to steal the victim’s vehicle. He received minor injuries as a result of the assault.

Joshua Joseph HEPNER, 24 yrs of Winnipeg has been charged with Robbery. He was detained in custody.
