Drug Trafficking/Firearm – Arrests: C25-80740

On April 18, 2025, the Winnipeg Police Service’s Guns & Gangs Unit arrested two individuals as the result of a drug trafficking investigation that began in February.

Over the course of this investigation, it was determined that illicit drugs were being trafficked out of a residence in the Burrows neighbourhood.

On April 17, the Guns & Gangs Unit, with the assistance from TST, and members of the North District and West District Community Support Units executed search warrants at a residence in the 800 block of Aberdeen Avenue, and at a storage locker in the south end of the city.

As a result of this investigation, approximately $19,000 worth of drugs was seized, as well as a sawed-off shotgun, ammunition and a “taser” type of device.

  • approximately 48 grams of fentanyl (Estimated Street Value of $8,000)
  • approximately 18 grams of heroin (Estimated Street Value of $2,000)
  • approximately 14 T3 pills (Estimated Street Value of $42)
  • approximately $2,500 Canadian currency
  • sawed-off 12 gauge shotgun, and applicable ammunition
  • assorted ammunition
  • “taser” type device
  • drug operation/packaging materials
  • identity documents
  • cellphones

Marcel Jules VAUCLAIR (46), of Winnipeg, was charged with 14 drug trafficking and firearm-related offences and detained in custody.

Nancy Jane HARPER (44), of Winnipeg, was charged with 6 drug trafficking offences, and released on an Undertaking.
