Drug Offence – Arrests: R24-55746

During the month of April 2025, the Winnipeg Police Service’s Guns and Gangs Unit entered into an investigation involving a drug trafficking operation, which was operating in the City of Winnipeg.

The following items were seized by police during the course of this investigation:

  • Approximately 71 grams of Cocaine (Estimated Street Value = $7,100)
  • Approximately 99 grams of Crack Cocaine (Estimated Street Value = $9,900)
  • A loaded sawed-off 30-06 Remington Rifle
  • 8 rounds of 30-06 ammunition 
  • Approximately $4,800 in Canadian currency

Investigators determined through investigation that quantities of illicit drugs were being trafficked and a number of suspects and locations of interest were identified.

 On April 18, 2025, investigators executed search warrants at several locations of interest within the City of Winnipeg including:

  • A residence in the 100 block of Drew Street
  • A residence in the 200 block of Roger Street

Investigators also seized and towed a 2017 Mercedes-Benz.

Five people were arrested as a result of this investigation.

A 23-year-old female, from Winnipeg is facing the following charges:

  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine x 2
  • Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000

A 32-year-old male, from Winnipeg is facing a charge of Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine.

A 41-year-old male, from Winnipeg is facing the following charges:

  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
  • Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
  • Store Firearm or Restricted Weapon Contrary to Regs

A 26-year-old male, from Winnipeg is facing the following charges:

  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
  • Possession of a Weapon
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order

A 17-year-old male, from Winnipeg is facing a charge of Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine

All were released on Undertakings as mandated by the Criminal Code.
