Man arrested after stabbing in Weston area; victim upgraded to stable condition: C25-135464

On June 17, 2025 around 8:50 p.m., two men were involved in an argument in the 1-99 block of Keewatin Street. The argument escalated and one of the men was stabbed multiple times by the other.

Central District patrol officers arrived on scene and provided first aid to the victim until paramedics took over. He was transported to hospital in unstable condition and later upgraded to stable. Witnesses pointed out the suspect to officers, who was in a nearby lot already being spoken to by police, and was taken into custody.

James Alexander CAMPBELL (31 YRS) has been charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon, and two counts of failing to comply with a Release Order. He was remanded into custody.
