A random home invasion in the Lavalee neighbourhood leaves couple shaken. One male arrested: C25-235223

A couple was threatened during a random home invasion on Bayfield Avenue in the Lavalee neighbourhood. An unknown male was arrested.

On October 3, 2025, just before 5:30 a.m., the couple was at their residence in the 1-99 block of Bayfield Avenue when they heard someone banging on their front door. Upon opening the door, an unknown male, armed with a knife pushed his way into the residence, grabbing the glasses off the female victim’s face. He then threatened to stab the 48-year-old female and 53-year-old male with a butcher knife.

East District General Patrol officers arrived and swiftly arrested the suspect. No one was injured as a result of this incident.

Brock Glen Grant CRAWFORD, (35) is charged the following:

  • Break Enter and Commit Robbery – Dwelling House
  • Uttering Threats – Cause Death or Bodily Harm x 2
  • Possession of a Weapon

He was detained in custody.
