City of Winnipeg golf courses begin teeing off this weekend

Tee time reservations open at 2 p.m. today, still spots available in both men’s and women’s golf leagues

Winnipeg, MB – City of Winnipeg golf courses will start opening for the season on Friday, May 6. Course openings and availability of certain holes will be staggered as course conditions allow and water levels recede at Kildonan Park and Windsor Park golf courses.

Kildonan Park Golf Course – 2021 Main St.

Opening with a modified nine-hole course on Friday, May 6. The price of green fees and cart rentals will be reduced to begin the season. Remaining holes will open in the coming weeks as course conditions allow.

Crescent Drive Golf Course – 781 Crescent Dr.

Fully open for the season on Saturday, May 7.

Windsor Park Golf Course – 10 Des Meurons St.

Opening with a modified course on Tuesday, May 10. The price of green fees and cart rentals will be reduced to begin the season. Remaining holes will open in the coming weeks as course conditions allow.

Beginning at 2 p.m. this afternoon, residents can begin booking tee times for all City golf courses online at winnipeg.ca/golf or by phoning 311 or each course’s pro shop.

There are also still spots available for men and women looking to join a golf league this season. Golf leagues are offered at Kildonan Park and Windsor Park golf courses beginning the week of May 16. Registration is available online at winnipeg.ca/golf.
