Terms and conditions

This City of Winnipeg Recreation gift card Terms of Use Agreement (“Agreement”) between you, the user of City of Winnipeg Recreation gift card (“you”) and The City of Winnipeg provides all terms and conditions related to your use of your City of Winnipeg Recreation gift card (“gift card”). Use of the gift card by you, or anyone else who holds your card, constitutes acceptance of this Agreement.

The gift card is reloadable, by purchase with cash, credit or debit, with any denomination between $5 and $500. Gift card balance may be provided in person, by calling 311, or through winnipeg.ca/leisureonline if the card has been registered to a customer account.

Your gift card does not expire. The City of Winnipeg does not charge service or inactivity fees to your gift card balance.

This gift card is valid for purchases made in person, by calling 311 or through winnipeg.ca/leisureonline. Gift card must be presented at the time of redemption. Gift card is only valid for purchases of City of Winnipeg Community Services Leisure Guide Activities, memberships, single admissions, merchandise, equipment rentals and facility rental permits.

Amounts on this gift card cannot be redeemed and/or refunded for cash. Refunds for products purchased using this gift card will be refunded to the gift card. This gift card should be treated like cash. The City of Winnipeg is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards, and will not replace the gift card or any stored balance on the gift card for any gift card not connected to a customer account. The City of Winnipeg reserves the right to levy a fee for the replacement of lost/stolen gift cards registered to an account.

Gift card is void if altered.

The City of Winnipeg reserves the right not to accept, load, reload or reissue any gift card and to otherwise limit the use of a gift card if The City of Winnipeg reasonably believes that the use of the gift card is unauthorized, fraudulent, or otherwise unlawful.

The City of Winnipeg reserves the right to amend this Agreement at any time. Amendments will be posted to this webpage, and will become binding on you if you continue to use your gift card following the posting of the amendments.

The City of Winnipeg makes no warranties or representations of any kind, express or implied, regarding the gift card, and expressly disclaims all warranties and representations, including, without limitation, any implied warranties or representations of fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement.

The City of Winnipeg shall have no liability for any unauthorized use of or access to your gift card through mistake, accident, or fraudulent means by you or any third party.

The total liability of The City of Winnipeg to you, and anyone claiming through you, for any damages, claims, or losses suffered by you arising in any way under this Agreement or from your use or possession of a gift card shall not exceed the balance held on your gift card at the time the damages, claim, or loss arose. The City of Winnipeg shall have no liability to you for any special, incidental (including, without limitation, lost profits or lost opportunity), punitive, or exemplary damages suffered or incurred by you in connection with this Agreement or your use of the gift card.
