Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to fire on Sutherland Avenue

Winnipeg, MB – At 12:39 p.m. on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in an apartment in the 100 block of Sutherland Avenue.

Firefighters saw smoke coming from the building when they arried. They used an offensive attack and declared the fire under control at 1:05 p.m.

Firefighters searched the building to ensure no one was inside. No injuries were reported.

The fire is under investigation. Damage estimates are not available.
