List of licensed contractors

Various types of demolition, electrical, mechanical and plumbing work can only be done by a contractor licensed by the City of Winnipeg. For a contractor to get a permit for this type of work, they must be on this list. If a contractor is performing the work, they must apply for the permit. The presence of a name on the list does not confirm that a permit has been obtained.

The only way to know if a licensed contractor is authorized to do specific construction in the city is to confirm that a permit has been issued for the project.
