Do you want to make a positive impact on Winnipeg?  Consider applying for one of our Boards and Commissions. You will help make meaningful decisions impacting your community.

You must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident to apply. You also have to live in Winnipeg and be 18 years or older on the application date.

We encourage people to consider self-declaring when applying. This is one way we’re working to more accurately reflect Winnipeg’s diversity on our Boards and Commissions.

Volunteer terms vary from one to three years depending on the Board or Commission. Meeting frequency also ranges.

The deadline to apply is Friday, October 17, 2025. Successful candidates will be appointed by City Council in early 2026.
